So I've had the first issue of this book colored for well over a month (I'm done with #2 as well) but I haven't seen any previews or news yet. The covers have been shown and some interviews about the writing are out there, but nothing promoting the interior art.

I think issue 1 is either already out or really close to coming out. See how well they keep colorists in the loop!

Anyhow, I'm posting two of the pages for now and maybe some more later on down the road. This is a pretty fun book because I can be kind of loose and more graphic with backgrounds.

*warning, expletive below. don't read if you're easily offended by pop culture references with profanity in them*

Yeah, I'll be interested to see what Chaykin does with the story, and if people care enough about Die Hard to give the book a chance. Regardless, there's some fun stuff to color. :)

Digging the more graphic look to the colors. Is that Zipatone effect yours or the penciller's? I dig it. I've been looking for a project to use that kind of style on...

Which publisher is this coming out from?

This is a Boom Studios book.

If you're talking about the part I think you're talking about, the artist put the zip in, but I mimicked it in other areas with the color.
