I took my inspiration for this fight scene from fighting video games like Marvel VS Capcom. When characters in that game unleash their powers or crazy combos the background scene will fade away and be replaced by intense colors.
I also color coded each characters hits by making WW's backgrounds blue when she got in a punch or block, and Apollo's backgrounds are a contrasting orange.
With his final blow in the last panel I stopped using the colors established for the characters throughout the scene, and instead made WW and Apollo a warm monochromatic scheme to really emphasize that final punch. An exclamation point to end the fight.
Your work is so gorgeous, but I really get turned off when Diana gets BLUE or bluish hair in the Tony Akins issues. It looks kinda wrong, but it's amazing when it's just a dark luscious black, like in this panel right here. Esp. with Chiang's pencils.

They use a fill in artist every couple of issues. Tony Akins will draw 13 and 14, and yes, I'll be coloring those issues. In fact, I finished 13 this week.
It's great to know you are still coloring two more issues of WW I really can't waint to see thme, and I've seen a sample of Tony Akins' new WW and she's great. You two make a great team.
